12 Months Before

Most people tend to plan more than twelve months before especially if they have a popular wedding venue or a summer wedding etc.
  • The first and most important thing is to set a date

  • Start deciding on an ideal time

  • You then need to sit down and set a budget or a limit - and also who is paying for what

  • Think about who you want for the best man and chief bridesmaid, ushers, bridesmaids, page boys, and witnesses

  • Decide if you want a civil or religious ceremony

  • Give notice to the Registrar for a wedding in the registry offcice or go to the church you want to marry in.

  • Decide on a venue and see whether it is suitable for your number of guests, wedding date and budget.

  • Start to book the photographer, florist, DJ, videographer, wedding transport and hotel.

  • Go to order your dress and the wedding parties' dresses and the cake

  • Order the groom and wedding parties' attire
